Add Teranode to Claude

Do this once, on a computer.

Click this button. Claude opens a box with the name and the address filled in.
Open Claude and add Teranode
Claude shows a red note because the link came from outside Claude. That is expected. Check that the address is https://teranode.ai/mcp, then click Continue.
Keep the two choices Claude marks Detected. Click Add.
Click Connect. A Teranode page opens that says Approve Claude.
Sign in with Google, or have Teranode email you a code. Then click Approve. Teranode is now in Claude.
Try it. Open a new chat. Ask Claude about a real choice you are weighing. When Claude answers, send this:

Run an independent Teranode Review.
Claude asks to use Teranode. Choose Always allow. Preparing is free: nothing runs and nothing is charged until you confirm on the card. A card shows what will be sent. Read it. If it looks right, click “Confirm & run independent Review”. When Claude asks to open a teranode.ai link, you can tick "Don't ask again for links to teranode.ai" so Claude stops asking each time.

When Teranode Review lists missing facts, look for them in [where my records are, for example my notes, my CRM, or my Google Drive] and prepare the Review again. Leave out names and other identifying details.
In Claude, click your initials, open Settings, and paste into Instructions for Claude.

Added Teranode before October 2026? Remove it in Claude and add it again.
A free Claude plan allows one custom connector.
On a work plan, an owner adds connectors for the team.

Adding it by hand? In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors. In the desktop app, Customize is under Settings. Click Add, then Add custom connector. Name it Teranode Review and paste this address.

Add Teranode to ChatGPT

Do this once, on a computer, in a desktop browser. OpenAI decides which plans and workspaces can add a custom app, and the controls move. If a step below is missing on your account, the paste path works on every plan.

Open the ChatGPT apps page. If it shows no Add button, your plan or workspace does not allow custom apps yet; paste the answer below instead.
Open ChatGPT connector settings
Click Add, then Add custom MCP server.
Name it Teranode Review and paste this address. Choose OAuth. Leave the client ID and secret empty; if ChatGPT asks how to register the app, keep the Client ID Metadata Document option. Click Create.

A Teranode page opens that says Approve ChatGPT. Sign in with Google, or have Teranode email you a code, then click Approve. ChatGPT shows Teranode Review as connected.
Try it. Open a new chat. Use the plus menu by the message box to turn Teranode Review on for that chat; on some accounts it sits under Developer mode or Apps. Describe a real choice you are weighing, then send this:

After you connect

Run a Review. In that chat, send a recommendation: yours, an advisor's, or an AI's. Say “Run an independent Teranode Review.”
Read the findings. They come back in the same chat, with a link to the record.

What we save, and why. Your email, your payments, and each review you confirm: what you sent, the findings, and your attested record, saved so you can open it again. Reviews save to your account. Other customers cannot see them. Our staff can open them for support and operations. Leave out SSNs, account numbers, and names. We refuse reviews that have them.

In plain terms. We don't keep your client's name. If a review runs, it saves to your account so you can open it again. We do not use it to train models or add to the public dataset.

No setup? Paste it instead.

Why three different prompts?

Because these models aren't interchangeable. ChatGPT keeps a running summary of everything you have told it and can pull up old chats, and it tends to smooth over the parts that make you look bad. Claude can go read what you actually said instead of a summary, then hedges about it. Grok is the bluntest of the three and keeps the least, so its write-up is shorter and it will say what it does not know.

Each prompt names what its model does well and where it slips, and asks for the unflattering version instead of the polished one.

Work, money, business, and logistics only. The prompt tells your assistant to leave family, medical, and legal matters out, and not to mention that it did.

If your assistant sends a short numbered list first, don't paste that into Teranode. Type the number, then bring the write-up.
